Last Tuesday, Caiden turned 16 months. (I'm not too terribly behind) There don't seem to be any "major" milestone to look for until 18 months so here are a few new things he's doing.
- He backs up to the wall. I'm not really sure why he does this, but it's kinda funny.
- He fake yawns when he sees us yawn.
-He'll pick out a book and bring it to me and turn around backwards so he can sit in my lap.
-He's making some new sounds: bee and pee
-He's wearing 18 month clothes pretty much all the time, but in some of the brands it is still way too big!
- He's finally moving up to size 5 shoes
-He has 6 teeth
-He HATES bubble baths, but he loves bubbles and loves water. Can't figure that one out.
-Can point to his feet and belly button
-He loves to walk around dragging something, like Daddy's lunchbox
-He love to Skype (video chat) with Nana & Papa (If anyone wants to skype just let me know, it's much easier now with the iPad)
-He makes his hand like a duck beak when I say quack quack
- He added the sign for "cheese" and we're working on "all done" and "bread"
-He's beginning to run and wants to jump- he bends his knees and pops up but doesn't get off the ground yet
- He's doing so well in swim class. He started kicking in the water and he will put his head under water to get a toy. He can stay under for 6 seconds. We're continuing the classes in the fall.
-He got his first black eye :( He fell into the corner of a table.

-He likes to dance... flailing his arms and clapping and wiggling.

On another note, I wanted to tell you about my new blogging adventure. (Although I've already passed it along to several mom friends of mine).
I've started a new blog, E's Eatery (www.eseatery.blogspot.com) to post the recipes that I've tried and liked for Caiden to eat. Many of them are my sneaky attempts at getting him to eat more vegetables. Check it out!
