Four random things

Remember that sometimes I use this blog to inform friends and family of what we are up to, but I also use it as my own personal journal. So this may not be terribly exciting to you but it's a few things I'd like to remember!

*Caiden recognizes places when we go by them or pull in the parking lot. He knows Tom Thumb, Target, Costco, Hobby Lobby and WalMart (you'd think all we do is shop)

*I think it's so cute how Caiden says "caleb". He struggles with "c" some so he pronounces it like "Tay-bub" or "day-bub". It's not so cute when he tries to say "Caleb's crying" and it sounds like "Tay-bubs dying"!

*We have a new lizard friend in our back yard, and it's not one of the cute little geckos like we usually have:

*I finally found and ordered a name vinyl decal for Caiden's wall. I've been wanting one forever and just never got one. I also ordered one for Caleb's room, but you'll have to wait and see that one until I do a post on  his nursery!  I ordered them from Just Wright Vinyl Decor, She was super easy to work with and made a custom design for Caleb's room and I got them really quickly!



Caleb's first dinner out

A few Saturdays ago, we took Caleb to his first dinner out. We made a pit stop first at Tom Thumb and Caiden got to drive his car.

Then we went to Dickey's BBQ. It's one of our favorite places to go because it's close to home, it's almost always empty, the food is yummy, and they have FREE ice cream! Caleb wasn't impressed, he slept through the whole dinner!

Birthday Buddies

I have a friend, that happens to be Erin M. as well, that was pregnant with me but was due June 3. We were due a month apart and ended up having our boys on the SAME day. I actually had Caleb a few hours before she had Liam. I think she was jealous, so she decided to go into labor :) Totally kidding. Anyway, this makes our boys "Birthday Buddies" . Here are some pics from their first meeting, although they weren't too happy about having their picture taken!

Caiden is in desperate need of a haircut!

Caleb- 1 month

Caleb is 1 month old!

 

-Weight: 8lb 10 oz. (this is a full pound more than what Caiden weighed at 1 month)

-Diapers: newborn

-Clothes: newborn, he's starting to fill them in a little more now!

- Sleeping: It's kind of hit or miss right now. most nights He's give us at lease one 3-hour stretch, and last night he made it 4! during the day he'll take about an hour long nap in the morning and about 2-3 hours in the afternoon, and then maybe an hour again in the evening. And of course, there are shorter snoozes in between too.

-Brotherhood: Caiden loves kiss Caleb and we have to keep him away from his face so much.

-Milestones: He loves tummy time.... to snooze. Gonna have to work on that. He's really strong though, can pick his head up momentarily and can eventually get it from one side to the other.

P.S. I'm really going to try not to compare the boys too much but I'm really interested to see if they look like each other (partially because my sister and I look NOTHING alike!) So here's them both at one month.
